The Deli Dance Off: Little Lucas

Welcome to my food postings.. I love eating and talking about it almost as much as I love makeup.  In case you haven’t read the others come take a look.. and have no fears if you like these post there are many more to come…

Taco Wars: Taqueria Morida

Doughnut Combats: Rolling Pin

As you know top take out foods for me are (not in any exact order)

  • Street Tacos
  • Deli Sandwiches
  • Pizza
  • Doughnuts

I have grown up on deli sandwiches.. I would actually go as far to say this is the one thing that I crave the most.  I could eat sandwiches everyday of my life, even when I was little I used to eat a sandwich at least 4 days out of the week.  At a point in my life I ate sandwiches everyday of the week because I worked at a deli.  That experience in my life was so much fun (for the most part) and if I could when I get a house of my own I wouldn’t mind a deli cart.. haha!!

My FAVE Deli Meats:

Roast Beef – Turkey – Salami – Chicken

My FAVE Deli Cheese:

Cheddar – Provolone – Pepper Jack

My FAVE Deli Breads:

Sourdough Roll – Dutch Crunch Roll – Sliced Rye

My FAVE Toppings:

Mustard – Red Onion – Pickle

The place I am reviewing is a place that is a local favorite as most of the places I review.. this deli is so good that they are technically open until 5pm but usually close by 4pm because they run out of bread so early!  If you are from here you may already know but its Little Lucas.. << Click for the website and >>> there for Yelp!!

On Sourdough Roll

Everything includes:

Lettuce – Tomato – Red Onion – Pickle – Mustard and Mayo –  Garlic Pesto Spread – Jalapeno Spread

First of all when ordering from Little Lucas you need to know what you are getting yourself into.. be prepared to spend a very well worth it 10+ dollars because the sandwich is the size of my calf.

For me it is worth it because this enormous sandwich will be my lunch and dinner.  Or I could take half for lunch the next day!

Judging the sandwich..

It was amazing, every time I have a sandwich from here it is just that AMAZING!! I have been eating sandwiches from Little Lucas for years now so yes this first deli review was easy yummy peasy!  The size of the bread is like 14 inches and to top it off the the width, height, and weight of these sandwiches let you know you are getting your quantities worth.  When you take your first bite the juices leak out so 1. make sure you’re eating over the paper and 2. make sure you put your chips on that paper so you get the juice from the sandwich all over the chips.  Then as you are trying not to be messy when you are taking these first bites “JUST STOP” let go and embraces all of the flavors of your sandwich.  Now that you accepted the messy tasty future you know the sandwich has quality worth!

For me I got cream, tang, spice, and nothing but deliciousness… I knew going into the shop what sandwich I was after and this is one I have never had from here.. I know it was going to be the BBQ roast beef with cheddar.. It was literally EVERYTHING & MORE!!

If you are in the area of Burlingame right next to Linardi’s off of Trousdale and across the street from Mills Peninsula Hospital.. and they still have bread oh and you’re HUNGRY make sure you stop by Little Lucas.. (also they have a few other locations so you should Google them)

Please come back for more food reviews and let me know if you even like these things… If you have other things for me to review please let me know in the comments.. Like the pizza review coming next!!

I love and appreciate you guys for even looking this way.. Please do not forget to STOP AND SMELL THE FLOWERS.. MAKE LIFE AMAZING FOR YOU AND EVERYONE BUT START WITH YOU!
